We hired them for our march wedding and I just found out via facebook that they are filing for bankruptcy!!!!  We wanted our deposit refunded months ago due to lack of communication and professionalism  but were told that it was non refundable so I just happened to go on facebook tongiht and saw the post....to anyone that has already booked them, this issue is definitely worth looking into!!!

    Thank you for this information.  I have them booked for my february wedding.  I guess the research for new vendors begins now.  Where did you see this information?

    It was on Facebook last week, we are trying to figure out what to do ourselves and it is really frustrating.  There are many brides and grooms online that are now complaining that either they cannot reach Solis or they have not received their pictures and video after their wedding because they are not paying the photographers or the videographers.....Since you are getting marreid in February I would look into it asap....try contacting them and see if you receive a response.....

    wow, that is terrible.  I am glad to find out now.  I have called both numbers listed on their website. one is disconnected and one goes to voicemail.  I have called numerous times over numerous days.  I have already started looking for new vendors.  I cannot believe this has happened.  but, thank you again for posting this or else I would have had no idea until it was too late.

    Youre welcome, sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I hope you are able to find another vendor.....this is such an unfortunate situation and I hope we are all reimbursed accordingly at some point.....

    I TOO AM Getting NO response from them and they have my ENTIRE PAYMENT!
    They will not call american express back to reverse the charges and we need to get our money back.

    THIS IS FRAUD!!

    Yes it is, there are many brides on facebook who all have the same story we all lost our money due to fraud and one is actually trying to pursue theft charges.  It is so unfair our entire deposit is gone!  Amex should be able to go after him for you on your behalf.....

    </div><div>My wedding was on March 31, 2012 and I am still waiting for my Wedding Video.  We also paid him in full.  My package also included 3 wedding albums yet to be received.  I've been trying to get just my raw footage and haven't been successful at that either.  He doesn't return any of my phone calls, texts, emails.  It is just horrible.  I was very patient with him but all I have received is Heart ache!!!!   So future Brides beware!!!</div>

    He also stole my money. All of it. I had him booked for my Feb wedding. He promised to fix it and do whatever he could to have ppl at my Wedding but like usual I am waiting to hear from him. I have since picked nrw vendors but I did go to the bankruptcy court and we all have 60days once his case becomes public to fill out a form and add ourselves as creditors on his case and hopefully settle on an amount and try and recoup some money back. The kicker is we have to babysit the situation and take time out of our personal lives to show up at his court hearingwhenever that may be to represent ourselves. I have already retained legal council bc of the amount of money I paid him. It is considered grand theft. Hope this helps.     I will definitely do whatever I need to, to get our money back. So, keep me posted, i will show up to court if needed. When was the last time you had contact with him? My wedding is also in Feb. and haven't been able to make any contact. Also, with the wedding being 2months out, may I ask which vendors you chose as replacements? I can't believe I have to start from square one again. Good luck ladies

    This also happened to me with our wedding being in February. Please let me know who is being contacted as far as local news channels and such.  Also, is there a way we can find out about the bankruptcy court online and when he will make it public so we can stay on top of this matter.

    As far as vendors, we live in Tampa, Florida and luckily found Limelight photography to do our wedding photos but so far haven't had much luck with finding a dj or videographer. I know that Limelight is a very reputable company with amazing work.

    Hi ladies ive also been having several issues with this man my wedding is for May and ive been trying to get a hold of him for months. hes a liar!! We were supposed to have a particular photographer than he wanted more money if I used her. I dont know what to do at this point . I saw we call the news and take legal action. Ive read we have 90 days after hes filed bankruptcy for us to file a claim

    This is disgusting. I found this out two nights ago when I went to look at his website again. He was supposed to do my wedding and video in April! Believe it or not he actually called me back and was so cavalier and non chalant. I asked when he was going to tell me that he is going bankrupt?? He said he tried to do the right thing but people were cursing at him so he stopped calling. Then he had the gall to say that he can "save my wedding" and see if he is busy that day?! Are you kidding? I am so sick. I gave him 1000 deposit and called the credit card company to get the charges reversed. They said I would have to wait until his bankruptcy is public or until my wedding comes and goes and he doesn't show. What a punk and coward. If anyone needs suggestions for new vendors I can help you out. All my vendors are amazing and had wonderful things to say about the other people noone seemed to know this jerk! Tells you something!

    I would be very interested in fighting this to get something back. He never gave me my usb drive with photos, never gave me my video, nor my 50 artistically enhanced shots. I feel robbed. Not to mention i didn't even get a response from him until 3 months after the wedding about my photos. And then he said he needed another six months for my video. Very unprofessional. I hope he realizes how many wedding experiences he's ruined.

    I tried to do a chargeback and two months after the credit card reversed the charges they found out they could not recoup the charges and made me pay them the reversed amount back. This is such a mess! I really want my videos. They can keep the money. If anyone has information about the videographers please contact me.

    Our wedding was March 2012 as well. After several months of no returned phones and emails I reached out to the woman who was contracted through Solis Productions to film the wedding. She was able to reach Eddie and he gave her permission to work on our video. Have you tried reaching out to your videographer? I hope it all works out for you! We are still waiting on our albums and full raw footage :/

    Are there any updates? I have lost my deposit through him, my wedding has passed. I have not had contact with him since sept.2012. All the numbers I have to reach Eddie are disconnected. What are you ladies doing to get your money back?
