Invite Organist/Wedding Director to Wedding?

I'm not sure of the etiquette regarding inviting the organist and/or wedding director to the wedding reception. While I understand that it is their job to play the organ and direct the wedding (they're both provided & in the case of the wedding director, required by the church), is it the polite thing to do to invite them to the reception? If so, do I invite their spouses? We will be inviting them to the rehearsal dinner because they are participating in the rehearsal.

I don't know about the wedding director, but you don't need to invite ceremony musicians to the reception. If they're a family friend, you may choose to, but it is not required. If you do invite them, you should include their spouses.

I'm a musician, and I've played a lot of weddings. I've never had a couple invite me to the reception, unless I'm friends with the bride or groom. An invitation to the rehearsal dinner is always appreciated!
