looking for rustis/barn venues

We are looking for a venue that can accommodate 250 people, allows alcohol and has an area for outside ceremony. We are trying to find one that is between Lima oh and Akron Oh for July 2014. We have so far looked at about 35 different venues none of them seem to fit and I really dont want to settle in a banquet hall. If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate them.

Check out the barn at the meadows (http://www.the-barn-at-the-meadows.com/) I'm not sure how many it will hold though

Check out the Columbia Ballroom (I definitely think rustic and not ballroom-ish) in Columbia Station.

Thanks!! I'll check out both asap, since all the ones that we like are booking fast. We're currently goin to look at the Pine lakes lodge this Sunday. Hopefully we find something soon. Fingers crossed!

I know they do school field trips and birthday parties, but has anyone ever had their wedding there?

At Ramseyer? We did a tasting with a catering company right before someone's wedding there. We got to peek in the barn, it was gorgeous. It's also literally just a working farm, no commercialized stuff so the whole area was really pretty
