We are having the rehearsal the day of our wedding. We are having the cermony at the location so it will be short and sweet. I know that a rehearsal dinner is more of a thank you to everyone in the wedding and family traveling. I truthfully have only been to one and my fiance's family never has them so I am confused if we should do it? His parent's offered to pay for the rehearsal dinner but if they do they will give less towards the wedding. Has anyone else been in a similar situation?
