Greek Orthodox Ceremony Question

I have always dreamt of saying all the traditional things, "in sickness and in health...I do" etc...could this be possible at a Greek Orthodox ceremony? I've heard of working it in before the GO ceremony, but could it work after and I could get the "you may kiss the bride" ?

Re: Greek Orthodox Ceremony Question

  • My priest said you may kiss the bride at the end of the ceremony.  I am unsure about the non-traditional (for the church) vows.  You might be able to read them at your reception.  I would talk to your priest about it.
