Has anyone had good/bad experiences with renting food trucks for the reception? For a more casual reception, is this any more economical than regular catering? This is just a very, very baby of an idea, so any information at this point would be helpful, thanks!!

    My company rented a food truck service for an event here at work. It was horrible. They can't produce food fast enough and they ran out of food. I've gone to food trucks a few times for lunch & have to wait an average of 10-15 minutes for my order, which doesn't count the time spent standing in line. Not very fun way to spend a reception and you're guests will all be eating at different times, so dinner time will drag on.

    I love lunch trucks, but not sure if they are right thing for a wedding reception unless you have a small (50 or under) reception. Will they tell you they can handle 100+ people? Yes, because they can, but how long will it take to serve them.
