My sister (also my MOH) threw my shower/stagette this weekend, and it was fabulous! It was awesome to get 'er all done in 1 day, and it was neat that a core group remained for all activities, and some left, others joined in. There were 8 people for the shower, held at my folks' home, 7 people for dinner at an Asian stirfry restaurant, and 8 people for wall climbing afterwards. During the shower, my Dad took all 6 family dogs for a car ride to my home, and babysat them (apparently, all 6 dogs flanked him on the chesterfield at one point)! All in all, it was a super day, but I did discover that I'm really uncomfortable being the centre of attention. The wedding day should be interesting!
