Vdara vs Aria

Has anyone stayed in the Vdara 2 story penthouse suite and/or the Aria Sky Suite? I'm in love with both and trying to convince FI that we NEED to stay in one (or both lol)!!

    If it was the one that was on the Bachelor a few seasons ago the Sky Suite looked pretty awesome lol

    I have not stayed in either suite.  I have stayed at both hotels though.  One thing I didn't like about Vdara was that it's only a hotel, the bar and snack area close pretty early from what I remember.    
    Vdara was a bit more like a mini apartment (we had a corner suite) and Aria was like a regular Vegas hotel room.

    Both hotels had really nice rooms though so I don't think you can go wrong with either! 
    We had our dream wedding at Mirage on May 3, 2014!

    Thanks for the info...I've been reading reviews and stalking youtube and I am still confused!! I'm leaning towards Vdara but you're right about the casino. Think I'll miss waking up at 3am to go downstairs and gamble!

    that is a definite draw back of vdara - there is a connecting path to Bellagio - but I'm like you - I like to be able to run downstairs to do some late night gamblin' :) The corner room we had was beautiful for sure, but I like the casino, probably wouldn't go back
