Needing some advice regarding my engagement ring and how to find a reasonably priced wedding band...

Ok, so there's sort of an issue I have with my engagement ring. It's very beautiful but due to its odd shape does not complement a traditional style wedding band... I was told that I would have to meet with a jeweler specifically and have them make me a custom made- wedding band....I'm thinking that is sooo absurd and def can't afford it...So I need some alternatives here theres got to be a wedding ring out there that complements this ring? Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

My ring is oddly shaped as well. Look into the curved rings that stagemanager suggested. Mine is curved and has a bit of a gap between the two rings, but it doesn't bother me.

mine is also a curved (sometimes also referred to as a contour) band.

I have an oddly shaped band and I went with one of the curved ones.  I hated the custom band that the designer had to go along with the ring.  Here's a pic and you can see how they fit together.

I also had to get a custom designed band, due to the roundness of my ering. At first I thought I'd get a curved band, but nothing looked quite right with the way it was shaped and I searched many, many different stores. If you don't find a curved one you like, I would talk with several jewelers about the cost of a custom, I love mine now and plan to get the other side done for a milestone anniversary.

Getting a custom band doesn't have to be super expensive.  Also, if you don't mind a gap you can still get a traditional straight band.  A twisted band may make it less obvious, since it wouldn't lie flush against any band.

No matter what you choose, I'm sure it will be lovely.

I had mine custom made to curve to my e-ring, and it cost exactly the same as the straight band I picked out as the design I liked.  Basically I picked out the straight band, and the jeweler made one like it that fit perfectly to my e-ring.  They even added engravings to the band to match the one on my e-ring.

My ring is curved really weird and will need a custom band too. We are meeting with the jeweled on Sat so we will see how expensive that will be! I love those spacer rings but unfortunately mine curves the opposite direction
