Wedding Party

Small Wedding Party?

I have chosen my Maid of Honor and I might have one bridesmaid, my fiance has decided he wants his dad to be his best man. I'm just wondering if that's ok, also how do we do the procession with non-couple or uneven bridesmaids:groomsmen? I've only been to 1 or 2 weddings my entire life and they were a while ago so I can't remember how they went.

You can have anyone you want and any number you want in your bridal party.

You could just have your ladies walk in unescorted (so any groomsmen enter with the groom and hang out at the end of the aisle).

For going back out, you could have one groomsman escort both ladies or they can just walk individually again. It's really an anything goes situation.

  • We had an all-female, uneven wedding party. They just walked single file.

What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

  • I was a bridesmaid last year and there were 2 groomsmen but 4 bridesmaids. The guys waited up front with the groom and the women processed in before the bride. As we processed out, one groomsman walked between two bridesmaids. It worked fine, so I wouldn't worry about it.

  • Thanks ladies!
