Dollar Dance

We are going to do a Dollar Dance. We have a band (my fiance's band) for some of our dance. It's country music and we are doing band, ipod of music, band, ipod of music, band. So it alternates, we want to give our crowd country music plus some dance type booty shakin' music ;) We want to do a Dollar Dance to iPod music, but I'm not sure how long it typically is. A half hour? 20 mins? Just need to know for the amount of songs we need.

    I personally am not a fan of the dollar dance, so I would just skip it. I think they are awkward and uncomfortable. Are they usually done at weddings in your circle(s)?

    I've never seen a dollar dance, but I agree that I'd skip it. I didn't realize they were so long. Many are offended by the dollar dance, and I think it would be better to just keep the regular party going. Not trying to be harsh, just my opinion on it.
