Wedding Bands

Hi ladies!

I used these boards a lot when I was planning my wedding back in 2009.  Now, I'm helping my sister plan her wedding.

We are looking for suggestions for bands for the reception.  Anyone have any suggestions for bands they've used recently?

We used Fantasia for our wedding, but I wanted to see what all our options might be.

    Josh and the empty Pockets were REALLY good!

    I hear Maggie Speaks is popular for weddings, and we also just saw them play recently at a charity event.  I heard they are $5,000 to book, but holy smokes -- they were AWESOME!  They place every range of music from the oldies, to the 80s, to today's music.  If I could afford them, i'd totally book!

    I know this is an old thread, but South Boulevard Band is soooo good!  We wanted them at our wedding (only $2200, great sound, we've seen them at festivals and at C. J. Arthur's in Wilmette), but we're having a breakfast wedding instead of a dinner.  Please, someone, invite me to a South Blvd wedding. ;-)
