Church weddings

In what church did you have your ceremony? Would you recommend it?

Background: I'm an occasional Catholic and my FH is an occasional ELCA Lutheran. We agree we want to get married in a church but aren't members anywhere. We're willing to join a parish and set the date a year from now. We live in Shoreview and I'm leaning toward a Catholic church, but I'm interested in hearing any and all church options.

We are members and got married at St. Therese of Deephaven (a Catholic Church.)  We love it there and received so many compliments about how personal the ceremony was.  They fall on the more liberal side as far as Catholic Churches go, and we are personal friends with the Priest which is probably like it so much there!
