I'm trying to get the feel here newly engaged and excited and just ready to start planning but due to us wanting to have a big wedding we have decided to take 2 yrs to plan to make sure we have the wedding we want so I'm hoping I'm not jumping the gun by signing on to early. lol!

Welcome, I'm about two years away too! People think I'm crazy for planning so far ahead, but I've gotten SOOOOO many deals by booking things sooner rather than later. Have you set a date?

Welcome! It's not tooo early to start planning. Just take some time to do research, collect ideas, talk to vendors, etc. Some venues, photographers, caterers, etc. book 12-18 months in advance, especially if you are getting married in a peak season. So, it's a good idea to start getting estimates now.

Just avoid buying anything until you are SURE about that thing. We've seen brides here that start collecting decor, etc. and then change their mind completely, and have a room full of decor in a color that they decided they hate.
