Need a seamstress! Married girls-- who did you use and were you happy with the results?

    I've heard good things about Maria's in Fairfield. Haven't been yet but going to get my bridesmaid dress for my sister's wedding altered there. Will let you know.

    For a wedding dress, or just in general?  If it's for wedding, I used the seamstress at the shop where I purchased my gown (The Wedding Dress in Portland, CT).  She did an excellent job and it was very reasonably priced.  I was able to order my gown with a custom hem, but I did need it taken in and they also altered my bra and did the bustle.  I believe my alterations came to $100.

    I went to Marcy at Marcy's tailor shop in Monroe.  Loved her!

    Bridal bells in Berlin, - best seamstress in Connecticut!!!! She has tons of reviews all over!!!
