I am really having a difficult time finding a venue. From the beginning I wanted my wedding near a lake, however the closest venue near a lake is Lake Lanier Island. Yes, it is absolutely beautiful, however it is extremely expensive. So, I am considering having my wedding in Savannah. There are lots of cons to this, such as many people may not show up because it is four hours away, the possibility of it raining, and not being able to interact with vendors because of the distance. My cons for having my wedding near the Metro Atl area is that I just can't find a venue that I am in awe about. I did like The Cator Woolford Gardens, however there is absolutely no water nearby. I am so lost, is there any advice I can get from any one. I really need to make my decision asap because I only have 8 months left.
