photo booth favor

Hi everyone,
I'm doing a photo booth for my wedding. I would like to do bookmarks as the favor as both fiance and I having teaching degrees and work for a school district. I'm looking at bookmarks that let guests insert their photo booth strip into them. Any ideas how I could display the empty frame for guests? And also how do I make sure each guest receives one? I plan on having extras (about 50 or so) so people can take more if they would like. I was thinking about making my own insert, that way people that don't do the photo booth still have an insert from the wedding day (such as our names, the date and thanks for celebrating the day with us). Would that be a good idea? I don't want to get bookmarks printed though because I would rather have guests use it for their photo booth strip. The inserts would just be card stock printed from my work printer.

I had a photobooth at my wedding that printed out strips. We did the double strips So one went in the photobooth and one went home with the guests. What actually happened was our photobooth was a huge hit. Our guests used it multiple time, there was always a line of a few people waiting to use it (it was fast though), and I know people took more than one home. And our guest book is fantastic to look at.

I think the strips work well alone as favors. I think the bookmark idea is also great. However, if it is a lot of extra work (time, energy, money) I would skip it. I am not sure if I would be more or less likely to use the bookmark insert. But it

Presumably someone will be running the photobooth?

So you coud just have a basket of them near the photobooth. The attendant can encourage guests to take one if they'd like.

I have no purpose for a bookmark (just more clutter for my house!!), so I'd leave mine behind anyways.

You should be thanking your guests in person, so they don't need a trinket that says "Thanks for celebrating".

Great! Maybe we'll just stick to just the photo booth. The one we're using does the double strips as well and then people can write messages along with it. We also get a cd with every strip too so we could print out more. They also post them online so other guests can go on and look at them all.

Did you make an announcement or anything about the photo booth being there? I've never been to a wedding with one, but I think it's a great idea. I just worry about older guests actually using it. Did a lot of the older guests (40+) use it?

There will be a person there. And very true, I never thought of it in that sense. How many do you think I should order though? I'm having 250 guests invited. Should I still order enough for one per or more or less???

No people just found it. I was actually concerned about the placement and that it would not get used, I was wrong. It was totally fine. Everyone used it. There's photos of my grandma with silly glasses on. It was EPIC. My mom disappeared with my aunt before formal family photos because they were in the photobooth.

This could be a crowd thing. I definitely think my family is a little more uptight and not goofy so I was pleasantly surprised.

I think the vendor managing the booth was helpful. We placed it near gift table and guestbook so it was straight forward.

Thanks!! Our location of it depends on how many people show up. But it will most likely be in the bar, which to me sounds like a great place. It's right by the guest book and escort cards. I'm so glad to hear it was a hit and people actually used it.

If you're concerned about people using the photobooth, have the DJ/MC announce it between songs.
