before reception

we only got one limo to bring me and my husband from church to reception but there is a nice amount of time in between... and i'd hate to have everyone else in the bridal party have to drive different cars to meet us for pictures. is it tacky for us to go somewhere romantic to take pictures just us?

    No.  I think going and having just some bride and groom pictures taken is just fine.

    As long as there is no gap and you are hosting your guests with a cocktail hour between the ceremony and reception, your plan is perfectly fine!
