My husband and I are having a vowel renewal ceremony in Ohio in March. Now as we know in Ohio weather can be VERY unpredictable. I have always wanted an outside wedding but I'm not sure where to start with venue and decor. Of course in case it decides to rain or snow I would like to have us and our guests protected from the elements.

I'm having a vow renewal the same day! I lived in Ohioan, North canton and the wether can be crazy that time of year. Do you have any Ideas yet?

By "protected from the elements" do you mean have an indoor plan? As someone who grew up in Northern PA and has dealt with Lake Effect, I wouldn't recommend just a tent or something to that effect. You could end up with incredible uncomfrtable guests.

What part of Ohio? That SCREAMS bad idea. I live in Ohio too - and I know we've had snow as late as April. More than once.

I'm having an outdoor Ohio wedding on March 15th. We are going to try to keep the ceremony very short, and obviously people can wear jackets and such. I figure if the weather is over the top bad that day, people can choose to just join us for the indoor reception:)
