Describe your bouquet

I have been going back and forth with mine. I really wanted peonies in mine but we were looking at October for our wedding and a lot of florist told me they can't get peonies because there not in season. I did have one florist company tell me they could and I asked them how because many day they can't due to being in season and his response was a lot of florist don't have connections like they do. So I've been leery on going g with them because I heard peonies don't bloom correctly if not in season so I was even deciding on switching the month of our wedding just so I know I can get them. What do you all think? Our wedding isn't until 2016 so I was think early May instead of October.

I would love to hear what kind of flowers you are using for your bouquet. Are you stinking with all white or doing colored. What will your bridesmaids look like. Are theirs just like your but smaller or completely different? Even if you already had you wedding what did you do for yours? If you have pictures or inspirations would be awesome! I can't wait to hear or see all of yours and I hope other will like this and help give them ideas!

I believe that you can get peonies imported from New Zealand in October. I'm using blue hydrangeas, white roses and gypsophilia.

I want a white and Plum/purple bouquet and my BM to have white hydrangea bouquets. My JBMs will have white pomander balls and my FG to throw purple petals

I wanted peonies too and was told you can't get them at any price here in England in October. So I'm a bit bummed about that but my bouquet is going to be smashing without peonies. It is a beautiful hand-tied bouquet of pale pink cymbidium orchids, deep red Baccara roses, Sweet Avalanche and Faith pink roses, tied with an ivory satin ribbon with lace detail.

I wanted flowers that would stand out against my white dress. I love tiger lilies (orange is my favourite colour), so my bouquet featured three of those, and some green kermits and hypericum berries. You can sort of see it in my siggy pic.

English Tea Roses look similar to peonies and may be more readily available in October.

Peonies out of season will 1) cost you an arm and a leg and 2) will not look nearly as pretty or full as when they are in season. If you truly have your heart set on peonies then you should plan a May wedding.

I had a variety of flowers and stuck with an ivory/white, purple and green theme. In my bouquet I had hydrangea, roses, lisianthus, orchids, hypericum berry, stock and freesia. Below is a picture of my and my BMs bouquets. The BMs did not have any ivory/white color included nor did they have freesia or orchids.

I'm doing red Gerbera Daisies (with dark centres) & eggplant (look almost black) calla lilies for mine. My bridesmaids are doing red Gerbera Daisies

I did a bouquet of all white roses. My BMs were the same just smaller.
