Pumpkin Carver

Hi All,

I'm having a fall wedding in Connecticut and thought it would be fun to have some carved pumpkins spread throughout our venue.

I realize this may be a long shot - but does anyone know of a professional pumpkin carver for hire?

I am not sure if this is an option for you but Michaels sells hollow plastic pumpkins that can be carved with a drill. They are very realistic. I saw the staff doing the carving. They can be done months/weeks ahead of time and won't rot like the real ones!

I don't know of any, but you might want to check out the RI Zoo Jack-o-Lantern event. You may be able to find a contact there that can point you in the direction of some professional pumpkin carvers.

Not sure what part of CT you're located in. There is also a Jack O'Lantern event at Van Cortlandt Manor in Croton-on-Hudson, NY (near Sleepy Hollow). You might be able to find someone through them as well.
