Chuppah rental price?

I was wondering what you are paying to rent a chuppah (without flowers). One florist quoted us for $250 which seemed high to me.

You could check out a party rental place.  We found one in MA that was going to charge $80 for a simple chuppah:

Or you could DIY one, which is what we did.

Our florist rented us ours for $100... which included birch poles and organza for the top. She then decorated it with curly willow, fall leaves and more birch.

We paid $350 from our florist (which was the cheapest around in our area) and that included the silk fabric draping, flowers on the outside in inside and the set up and take down.  It was gorgeous.  I wish I had a pic, but I'm at work and cant access the website from here.

<div>Our florist quoted about that (actually he quoted higher I think!)  We are just going to rent it from a party store.  I forget the name and price, but I'll find it and let you know.</div><div>

I am paying $200 as a rental from my florist. It is draped in white fabric and will have long crystal strands in the back.

Here is a website that charges 200.00 and they're really nice and have pics www.plantasia-inc.com
  • Prestige Wedding Decoration has gorgeous Chupahs 7 different styles and even can custom made.
  • Chuppahs can run anywhere from $200 from a florist for a really basic simple one to $2000 for elaborate ones. A great company to go with in the NY/NJ area is Your Chuppah NY LLC. They are licensed and insured and have 5 different chuppahs in their collection and they build custom chuppahs. They have done hundreds of chuppahs since that is all they specialize in. I highly recommend using them. www.yourchuppahny.com
