Getting a friend ordained

We have asked a friend to marry us and she has agreed! Has anyone else had a friend marry them, any advise? Which site did they go through to get ordained?  Everything I look up looks like it should be legal, but it still makes me nervous!

    Check with your county clerk's office first.

    Most people I know have gone through Universal Life Church.
