bridesmaid gift amount...

how much should i spend on my bridesmaids? 
i have 5 adult bridesmaids and 3 jr bridesmaids.

 i was thinking of getting them the classic tote bag and filling it but i dont want it to look/feel cheap.  i wanted to get them the bracelet they should wear on the day of the wedding as well as their getting ready shirts.  

any idea on an amount? thanks!

    Don't worry about the amount you spend. Just be thoughtful, and give them each something. they'd individually enjoy. Things to wear to your wedding don't count as gifts.

    IMO, if you are having an extravagant wedding with no expense spared then you should get your BMs a gift that is more on the pricey side and vice versa.  But, it is up to you how much you want to spend.  As PP stated, anything you want your BMs to wear on the day of your wedding is not part of their gift because it is really for you.
