Tips & Tricks for best prices?

Hi All,

I am wondering if anyone has any tips/tricks/secrets to finding the best deals out there.....? I have heard that the day of the week you look up prices matters, too.   Anyone have anything to share, whether it be a website, an airline, anything like that?

    shop around and make sure you're realistic about what airfare/hotels cost. if you're flexible on dates and times and even time of year for travel it can mean huge differences in price.

    Airfare is usually cheapest if you buy on a tues or wed. Also, flying early or late and avoiding weekends is usually cheaper too.
