Plus Size Wedding Gowns, Central Jersey

Ladies: I need some help finding bridal salons near Princeton, NJ that carry plus size samples.

I definitely do NOT want to just hold up a dress and roll the dice by ordering it. Does anyone have good suggestions on salons that actually have samples in a size 20-22? Plus, I'd love to hear about experiences of other plus size brides - I'll be nervous enough shopping for my dress, so I don't want to encounter any bridal consultants who are going to make me feel bad about being a full figured girl.

RK Bridal and Kleinfeld (both in the city) have plus-sized samples. I would call around and ask salons that are near you.

Don't know how far you want to travel but there is a brand new bridal salon in Manalapan, NJ, called the Curvy Bride. It had its grand opening last week. Might be worth the trip to check it out. The gowns on the website are really pretty. Good Luck!

Definitely make the trip Curvy Bride. I've heard only good things. Plus, there are two other salons nearby, Hearts for You and Castle Couture. They aren't plus-sized focused but may be worth a visit while you are right there. Good luck!

IF you have not gone, you have to check Curvy Bride. Such a great experience. Didn't buy my dress there cause they did not carry the designer I wanted, but everyone there was wonderful, you will not regret it.
