need ideas - 3-4 hr drive from Chicago

Hi ladies,

I'd welcome any recommendations for resorts that are a 3-4 hour drive (or less!) from Chicago. It'll be during the winter months. We're hoping for something with a nice indoor pool and hopefully a spa too.

Eagle Ridge in Galena is nice....

And Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva is also nice.

My brother and his family go to this resort in Elkhart Lake every summer. It's a tad on the pricey side but wonderful....

ETA: You may have more luck posting this on the Chicago board as they are more familiar with the area and short drive getaways.

Wisconsin Dells might have something for you. Several of the resorts have spas.

Other areas you could look are Rockford, IL or Western Michigan. Maybe the Milwaukee area has something too.

Go to Kohler. They have an amazing restaurant and spa.

Sundara in Wisconsin Dells is awesome (or so I've heard!). I've also heard Kohler is fabulous.

I hope this is a joke. But I am scared its not. These places are so gross. They are hotels rooms that a pool in them to have sex in. These places are a regular spot that hookers are arrested at.
