Has anyone had a wedding here and/or reception? Does anyone know if you do have the reception here can you have alcohol? I am trying to find place to rent out chairs and other items?

    I looked into having our ceremony there. You have to pay to rent out the space, and I believe that the Fort Worth Convention Center is in charge of usage/rental. I found this number for booking events through the Convention Center (hopefully it's still good): 817-392-6338.

    Regarding your questions, I'm not sure if you can have alcohol there. I would lean towards no, since it's basically a public park, but it wouldn't hurt to ask. I'm also not sure if they allow table set-up for a reception, but again, ask. There are lots of local rental places, but we used Taylor's off of University and they were great. Hope that helps.
