Photographer suggestions needed

I am a picture freak and that is the MOST important thing to me on my special day however I can't afford these quotes I keep getting for 2500-3000$. Does anyone know of any good photographers that will spend the entire day with you for a decent price?  My entire budget is 5-6k so I can't spend that much on a photographer!

    I have used them for engagement photos and they did great! They will do 7 hours for $800. And that is for 2 photographers. I can't wait for them to do my wedding in January :)

    Hey! I'm using Preston Smith Photography and Design. He just did the photos for my friends wedding and they were amazing. Right now he charges around $1500 and you get him all day and his wife will also be there to help take pictures. You should definitely check him out.     $3000 is the average for a legal & professional wedding photographer in the Atlanta metro area. Try contacting SCAD's photography department and look into using a student photographer or two. Your other option would be to try to find a newer photographer that is just starting out.
