Plus size bride hair help!

Hi everyone! So I'm a plus size bride-to-be and I'm having trouble deciding how to do my hair. I had planned on having a half-updo hair style, but now I'm reconsidering. I am more comfortable having some hair down because I feel like it hides some of my chubby face and double chin (I'm super self-conscious). However, I love the look of a pretty updo and think it might go better with my dress, which is a formal ballgown. I need help deciding between a half-updo and an updo. If I could get some opinions on what would look better on me/with my dress, that would be great

I've attached a couple of pictures. I just want to feel pretty and confident on my wedding day!

Remember that your future husband loves you the way you are. You don't need to hide anything on the day you marry him. A soft updo that pulls your hair back and up can make you look long and elegant.

I love that dress. It's one of my all time favorites! I wouldn't worry about hiding your face. With that said, I had a similar desire. Sort of up, sort of down. My hair is curly, so I had a loose/curly up-do that was up higher on one side than it was the other.

Maybe something similar would give you the up-do you want, but loose enough not to give you that tight "here's my FACE!" look.

I think you look fantastic in both photos, but I love the way your hair is away from your face in the dress picture, it really calls attention to your gorgeous eyes and smile. I do think the dress calls for a little more of a 'do so I'm voting team updo.

Ooh thank you! I've been debating this as well. I was thinking about growing them out a little bit longer so I could do a side-swept bang but I like these looks too! Decisions, decisions...
