Stepdad help!!

Ok so very long story short....my father passed away when I was 7. My mom remarried but he wasn't a good stepdad; the relationship was horrible. Some years ago they divorced and he has since turn a corner and become a much better stepdad to me, even though they aren't married they still live together. My fiance says that I should have him walk down the aisle with me and my mom (who is my choice to walk with) as a show of respect for all he's done for me. I honestly have forgiven him for the past but I still dont want to walk down the aisle with him. I feel it's always been me and my mom against the world no matter what........but I want him to feel included. How can I do that? I've already asked my uncle to share my "daddy/daughter" dance with me. Please any advice would be so helpful I get married in 8 months and need the sorted out quick so that we can move on with plans.....

You can have whoever you want walk you down the aisle or you can walk alone.  Also, some women choose to have someone walk them halfway down the aisle then walk the rest alone or have someone else walk them down the rest of the way.  Another option is to have two people walk the bride down (ie. one on each side of her).

It's not up to your FI who escorts you down the aisle-that's strictly up to you.

what PP's said, this is entirely your choice.
