vendor choices?

I am about to start choosing the rest of my vendors and figured I might as well look in Detroit. Does anyone know Detroit vendors that travel? Looking at photographers, florists and DJ's over the next month or so. Any good recommendations? I thought I might be starting late for these but have been told that with the economy being slow that most of these are not booking now until 6 - 8 months in advance.

Any thoughts on this?

Be sure to look into Town Square Photo. They have great package prices and are willing to work within your budget. I bundled a package and got 2 photographers for under $1300. http://townsquarephoto.com

I would look into the Camera Chick. She offers 2 photographers - standard - and has options and discounts for photobooths and engagement sessions. She does a wonderful job!

We booked Brenden from Best DJ Service. So far in planning, we really like him. He is very straight forward with you and has no hidden fees. When we met with him, we were just so comfortable talking to him. He asked a lot of questions to get a feel for us and our wedding style. I do not believe that his rates have changed: we paid 800, which includes any download, travel, set up, tear down, all day, any attire (such as a tux if you wish to have him in one), and he does not expect tips.
