Student photographers?

Hi there,

Has anyone had any experience with using photography students at a local college (UVM, Champlain, Burlington) as photographers for a wedding? It seems a little risky, but I bet it'd be possible to get some very unique images with a more reasonable price tag.

Any thoughts or recommendations (if you've given it a try) welcome!

    No advice on college student photographers. One of my sorority sisters recommended LHM Images to me and we have book her. She doesn't have a website yet so you have to look on Facebook. She is charging us $150 for the whole day including disks and rights. She worked at Sears photo in Rutland until it closed and has opened her own studio. She does great work.

    My friend used 21summit Studios and I believe some of their photographers are photography students from art schools in Boston. I thought her photos were STUNNING and the quality looked like high priced photographers, not student work, but she got a much better deal! Not sure what your budget is but I highly recommend them.... good luck :)
