Planning a wedding from Australia - Need advice/suggestions on makeup artists in CT

Hey everyone! 

I am planning our wedding from Australia (I will be moving to CT,US next month) and i'm just researching makeup artists for the big day. I will be need makeup for my three bridesmaids and my mother as well as me ofcourse. I have a budget of $550 including travel fees and taxes. Now i'm not sure if we are supposed to tip the makeup artist either (tipping is not a big thing here in Australia) so any help with that is also helpful. 

I've contacted different places. Danielle Santagata is booked, Andrea Marano (http://www.andreamarano.com/) - Her prices are great and i love her work as the looks are simple and natural. She was responding to my emails at first but i've tried contacting her twice over a week ago and she hasn't responded to me. I've also contacted Simply gorgeous by Erin (a little more pricey but still around my budget) She is still available for our wedding day so i am currently in touch with her. If anyone can give me some suggestions, that would be fantastic or even opinions on the ones i have been in touch with.  

We are having our reception at the Lounsbury House in Ridgefield so our ceremony and place of getting ready will be in or near the Fairfield county.

    Dont rule out Andrea yet- since this week was Thanksgiving she may have been traveling or overwhelmed getting her house and food in order for the Holiday! Id try emailing again in a few days and then if still no response move on to the next person on this list.

    I hope Andrea replies soon. I got a great first impression from her and i emailed her on 21st November. So i will give it some more time.

    I've gotten my makeup and hair done by Naomi on 4 occasions...3 of which she was late, and she's often late or behind in schedule. I would be nervous to book her for my wedding. 

    Elise at Top level is great! Just did my makeup trial and loved it!!

    Naomi Martinez is AMAZING!!!  She did the makeup and Angela (from Naomi's traveling hair team) did the hair for all 4 of my bridesmaids and myself for my wedding.  Naomi and Angela arrived on time...even a few minutes early.  She is hands down the best makeup artist I have ever seen and she will give you the exact look you are going for.  I couldn't imagine my wedding day without them.  They made me feel like a princess and my bridesmaids looked amazing.  I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup and it lasted all day and night through hours of dancing!  Naomi is one of the sweetest people ever and she truly cares about her brides.  She will make sure that you are 100% happy with your makeup.  I have gone back to her countless times for makeup, hair, permanent makeup, eyelash extensions, airbrush tanning etc...she is incredible!!  I feel truly blessed to have her as my makeup artist for my wedding.  I am always recommending her to people.   Seriously...book her for your wedding.  You will LOVE her.
