Help with escort cards

Found this on Pinterest any ideas on how I can make these little cards?

Re: Help with escort cards

  • It's a little hard to tell in the picture, but I think it looks like a white square of paper with the name on it, a burgundy square a little bit bigger under that and then a white square with scallop edges under that. You could use graduated punches for the regular squares and then a scalloped punch for the last white one. Punches can be a little pricey though.

  • I think you could also cut squares of cardstock and glue 2 together with some sort of pick (toothpick?) in between, then stick that into the candy.
  • I think it's white cardstock/specialty paper with a border printed on it and the names, and then a piece of cardstock with a scalloped edge on the other side.

Yeah definitely this too. I'm just lazy and the punches are so much faster than cutting all that little paper :) I already have them though so that would be my go to, but if OP doesn't have them then cutting would be the way to go.

  • I would those print-your-own business cards from like Staples or something to use as the white paper, this way it makes it super easy for your to type up & print our everyone's name & table. Then just use a punch or something to cut out colored paper to glue on the back of the business card
