Do readers get corsages?

My two FSILs are the readers at our ceremony. Do they typically get corsages?

I have not read up on it entirely. If you would consider them to be apart of the wedding party/ceremony (In which case they are), I wouldn't see why it would not hurt to get them one if you really wanted too. Maybe some of the other ladies could give input? Never really thought of the question, and other answers would help me out too!

Is it required? Nope. But I would say a lot of people do it and it's a nice gesture. You could also get them a small gift to say thank you.

< I agree with both answers. Additionally, we considered them part of the wedding party, and invited them to the rehearsal dinner.

not sure of proper etiquette, but I would, since they are taking part in the wedding ceremony.

I just read the flower chapter in the ModernBride Survival Guide this morning and they say yes. In addition, I was a reader in two non-family weddings and in both I received a corsage.

I have read in 3 weddings. I was given a corsage for one wedding, not the other two. I don't think it is mandatory but I did appreciate the gesture. I also wore my corsage to the reception.

We gave corsages or bouts to our readers, plus each got a little thank you gift along with the WP, but neither is mandatory. It's a nice gesture, though.
