  I flew coach and just carried on.  The flight attendants were awesome about it and made sure to hang it up for me.  

  
  

  I also bought a small handheld steamer with me to use once I got there.

  I am shipping my two down in advance to a service that steams them and then delivers to your hotel. I am getting married in Vegas. I am sure some people wouldn't be comfortable having their dress out of their sight, but ey are very reputable.
