Ceremony Site Ideas

Hello knotties!  Getting married in the fall of this year but I am in need of a place to hold our ceremony.  Unfortunately the church is not an option, and I'd prefer to have it at a different location than the reception.  Does anyone have any ideas in north NJ (preferably essex / morris counties)?

    Any reason you don't want to have it at your reception site? I must say, as a guest, my favorite weddings are where everything is in one place. We also had several people tell us that it was so nice our wedding was all in one place, especially the OOT people. We had ceremony in one room, cocktail hour in another and reception in a third room.

    If you're not having the ceremony at the church, it really is best to have it at the venue.  Mostly because you need a back up plan for weather.  Do it in a part or the beach and it rains, what are you going to do?  Do it in the gardens at your venue and they can move you inside for bad weather.
