I am newly engaged and am looking for a beach venue/planner in the wilmington nc area. I am looking for a beach ceremony with a sit down dinner reception. I am a little bit familiar with the area from vacationing there, but will head down there (i live in charlotte) this month to check places out. All beach recommendations are welcome! Thank you

Such a beautiful area to get married in! A few great options in and around Wilmington with oceanfront property are the Kure Beach Oceanfront Park & Pavilion, The Courtyard Carolina Beach Marriott, and the Holiday Inn Wrightsville Beach. You can hold the ceremony on the beach and the reception in the hotel ballrooms or, in the case of Kure Beach, on the covered pavilion. Some highly rated planner options in the area include Stellar Events, Salt Harbor Designs, and Orchid Island Events. They are all highly experienced in planning coastal NC weddings and have a really beautiful aesthetic!

I would also recommend checking out Seaside Wedding Connection for wedding planning services. I met the owner at a bridal expo, and she was friendly, professional, and seemed to have a lot of great connections for discounts. I have a family friend who is my wedding planner, or else I would have considered Seaside.
