One of the things I am most excited about is my Boudoir Shoot. I met an awesome photographer at a Bridal Show at Hotel ZaZa  a few months ago and was sold. I just booked my 2 hour session this week & will take my photos in 3 months. I  can't wait for the Best Man to surprise my love with his custom made book just before we meet for our "First Look" he is going to be so shocked !

  • @alieber89 I'll have to keep an eye out for your video, if it is posted! I haven't seen a BGP video from Board of Trade.
  • Great to see a lot of you are also using BGP, he is such a nice person!
  • @GeauxTigerLily129 We used Flour Power Confectionery and I'm still obsessing over my cake.  It was so delicious--white chocolate strawberry shortcake!  We were able to save money by ordering one of their faux gateaux cakes.

  • @louisianablueThanks, I've been hearing good things about them! Also - I'm pretty sure I've seen your wedding on Maile Lani's site.  Let's just say I'm a big fan and was a contributing factor for us picking BoT!  You and your wedding were gorgeous! (ok, I'm going to stopp being creepy now!)

  • @GeauxTigerLily129 You're making me blush.  Maile was an amazing photographer and it was the best day.  I'm sure your wedding will be beautiful as I've heard that the Board of Trade has made several upgrades to the space.  It looks fantastic.

  • @aliebert89 we are next May, just about a year away!
  • Smitty Dee's performed a second line at my wedding. I found out a year after my wedding that my wedding guests had to pay them several hundred dollars out of pocket when they were threatening to leave before performing (bc a guest passed out in the middle of the ceremony and 911 had to be called; the band got tired of waiting). They didn't play the song that was requested to be played upon the bride and groom exiting St. Louis Cathedral. They LEFT THE BRIDE AND GROOM and proceeded down the street, leaving my husband and I to have to RUN several blocks in our wedding attire to catch up with them!!?!? Then once we caught up, they stopped dancing. They literally WALKED the rest of the way to the reception venue. ALL of their music was monotonous and not exciting. They were the part of our wedding we were most looking forward to showing out out of town guests to give them a NOLA wedding experience. They were the WORST part of our wedding! DO NOT BOOK THEM FOR ANYTHING! They were by far the worst decision I made for my wedding.
