Back from St. John MARRIED!

Hi ladies! I hope the planning is going well and things are moving right along! I just wanted to pop in to say we are back from St. John, married! If anyone is thinking about a DW there, I am happy to provide any feedback from personal experience. There were quite a few weddings while we were there and I had a chance to talk to some brides who had larger weddings, so if anyone has questions or needs any info I am happy to help

Hi. I just started planning a dw and seriously considering the usvi. Are there any places to have a ceremony and reception (not just toast n dinner)? Thank you!!

Hi! I would check out Caneel Bay Resort. It is by far the most beautiful property and is really close to the ferry if you're coming from St. Thomas.

Caneel has several venue type areas that you could host a reception, like Turtle Bay Estate House, ZoZo's at the Sugar Mill, etc. Vera Payne is an amazing wedding coordinator and you don't have to stay on the property to have your ceremony/reception there. There are several places to have the actual ceremony on Caneel. We got married at Turtle Point and it is a gorgeous spot that overlooks the ocean and offers a beautiful backdrop for pictures.
