Anyone tanning before the wedding?

I plan on having a base tan - from natural tanning cuz I'm not a fan of tanning salons. I tan very easily though, so I would have a summer tan whether I planned to or not. Already bought a swimsuit that goes lower than my dress so no tan lines will show

I also wouldn't risk doing a spray tan for my wedding day.  Last summer I had really strong tan lines that I wanted to cover for my best friends wedding, so I figured a spray tan would get it done.  The lady promised me it would be subtle and that she could mask my swimsuit tan lines.  I ended up WAY darker than I expected, with no reduction in my tan lines, and just looked bad.  I look funny in all the pictures and overall really regretted doing it

light tan is better than no tan but no tan is better than a strong over the top tan! Be careful x

I am thinking about doing a tanning bed a couple months before my wedding. Do you all have any tips for using a tanning bed?

Start out really slow. It took me over two months to develop some decent color. I started out at 4 min in a 15 min bed. I got every other day or skip two days in between sessions. When increasing times depending on how I am doing I only move up one minute each time.

    I went 4 5 5 6 6 7 7 8 8 9 9 10 10 11 12 13 13 14 15 . . . Also I like my arms and legs to be a little darker than my face. I only have been using lay down beds so I generally turn off the facial after about 3-5 minutes.

Always use lotion. Start out and progress way slower than you think you can.
