Dress Desperation

I am starting to think I will NEVER find the dress of my dreams.

Last weekend my mom and I went to 5 bridal stores and I couldn't find anything I loved. Finally our last stop was David's Bridal and I found a dress I loved, had "the moment" and went to pay for it - they couldn't order it with extra length. I am plus sized (22 in regular clothes) and 6'1.

I am getting really frustrated and I have been having a really hard time since the dresses that do fit me aren't what I want.

We're getting married at a farm and I want something BoHo/Soft/Romantic without a lot of fussiness.

We're headed to Kleinfelds in Toronto in September - does anyone know of any good places to try on plus size dresses there?

Any ideas of great designers who do plus size?

what did your dream dress look like at Davids? Maybe some of us can help you find a comparable gown in other plus size designers.

I don't know what BoHo is, but here are some plus size gowns that scream non-fussy "romantic" to me. I would start calling salons that carry these designers and see if they carry these plus size lines:

How short is the David's Bridal dress on you? Would removing some layers of crinoline to make it the proper length? And/or is there anyway they could add some extra fabric at the bottom of the dress? Below are some pictures to kind of show what added fabric might look like, if you wanted to go that route:

I'm going for the same sort of style. My dress is WTOO- Jasmine and all the WTOO collection has plus sized dresses. I'm so in love with the different layers and flow of the dress. I think you should check it out! I tried to attach a picture but it wouldn't let me...

Hi - Not sure where you are from, but Marry & Tux in Nashua, NH has a whole Curvy couture room and hundreds of gowns to try on. I just got my dress there!
