Dominican or Costa Rica!

Hello lovely ladies,

We are trying to plan our DW however we are torn between the Dominican and Costa Rica. We were in the Dominican a few years back and loved it however we have never been to Costa Rica and have always talked of going. Has anyone been to both and have any opinions. We have a few guests that have not been anywhere and would like to be able to provide them with the best first experience of an all inclusive away. Thanks!

Costa Rica, for the most part, is best explored outside of an all inclusive. Plus, there are many more AIs to choose from in the DR, which may help with fitting in with a guest's budget. In addition, depending on where you are traveling from, it may be a bit more difficult to get into CR. Most AIs require you to fly into Liberia, which doesn't always have direct, daily flights.

Whenever there is a DW with guests involved, especially those who have never traveled, it's usually best to make it a good, easy experience for them. My suggestion, if you want as many people there as possible, is to stick with the DR because of accessibility and options. You can always HM in CR after or go for your first anniversary. If you aren't caring as much about guests being in attendance, then go with what you prefer.
