Final Fitting Last Night

I always loved my wedding dress, but with the final fitting last night, and seeing it "bustled" I couldn't feel anything more like a Princess in real life! Wow, I didn't imagine my dress looking so beautiful!

I'd like to put a picture of it here, but from the neck up I looked like a crazy Grandma and I'm only 35 years old HAHAHA

Has anyone else had a change in heart about switching to a different dress for the after party/reception after seeing their gowns bustled?

I am getting fitted tomorrow for a dress. I am nervous. I wear a 26/28 in street clothes and my biggest fear is they will laugh at me and say they don't carry my size. I hope it's not moritifying...

On topic - Yes!! I didn't think I would want a bustle since I loved the trail but then I saw it and I completely changed my mind. Plus man that gave me an awesome booty!

it's where they tack up the train of the dress, so your train doesn't drag all over the place while you are walking around at the reception.

The attached is a photo of my dress bustled (my bustle actually tore, so my dress still drug on the ground a bit), compared to the train actually all down (in the designer photo of my dress)

Ohh!! Thank you! I'm still learning what everything is. My first wedding (ex husband), I had a custom made dress, it was not specific.

When I went for alternations they pretty much said... Are you going to be dancing? Yes? Okay then you're getting a bustle.

So if you're having dancing at your reception and you don't want your beautiful dress to be stepped on by your drunk cousin - yeah go with the bustle. They look really cute imo as well.
