Affordable outdoor venue?

Hi all!

I'm looking for an outdoor venue for my summer 2014 ceremony and reception. Our budget is limited, and we are hoping to find a place for under $1000. Ideally, it'd be at a park or garden, allow us to bbq, and have electricity for string lights and the ipod+speakers. We are looking in the Bay Area, Santa Cruz area, Sonoma, and Mendocino. If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate the help!

Thanks so much! :)

in the same boat, haven't had much luck, if you want to go a bit further there's a small handful of all inclusive places in Monterey, by the sea and Monterey stone- I am getting desperate here with our area, and considering Tahoe, were wedding venues come by the dozens..

I am looking at north bay area, I will try to post some of my findings if any...

Actually now that I recall, Jack London Lodge in Glen ellen was pretty affordable, but they have some strict policies as to the set up..

This place looks nice and affordable.

cjohn- if you have the names of any of the all inclusive places you found in Monterey, I would be really interested! :)

I recently went to an engagement party at Temescal regional park. There was a wedding going on at the same time. It's a beautiful setting and you can reserve a good amount of space. It is a public park though so be ready for that. They allow beer/wine, have grilling, and you can probably cater if you want.
