Exchanging bride/groom gifts with each other...

My fiancé and I are not exchanging gifts with each other, we just bought gifts for the bridal party. Is this a major faux pas?

Thanks! Relief.... We really don't feel the need to do that anyway. Just wasn't sure on the protocol.

We did gifts although if it had been my choice we wouldn't have; I already had a ton of other things to pay for lol.

Well by now you know but you don't have to. And it's not something I see people even ask about. Destination weddings in particular seem to be a gift to the couple in and of itself.

Agreed. The trip alone is quite a gift to each other. And I personally have little odds and ends expenses coming out of the woodwork, I don't want to have to purchase something else LOL

YOU are his gift! haha that's how I'm feeling. We are giving gifts to our bridal parties but not each other. We paid for our honeymoon together so that's our gift to ourselves.
