Possible Hair Ideas!?

Hello!

This is my very first time posting, so I just want to say a quick "hello"!

Anyway, for my wedding attire, I have found my dress, shoes, and a few other accessories. However, in your opinion, what would look amazing as a hairstyle (I have an oval-shaped face)? My entire wedding "look" is somewhat based on the idea of an "Audrey Hepburn-esque" simplicity and elegance. Also, I am open to both hair jewelry and small veils. Attached are the pics of me in my dress. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much!

By the way, another quick question (sorry, I am somewhat clueless!), but are there different hairstyles that fit more accordingly with certain gowns? With my gown being tea-length, would certain hairstyles be more appropriate than others? Sorry for all of the questions!

First, you dress is lovely!

I love halos, and I think that would look lovely on you and with your dress. Something like :

I also think a birdcage veil would look nice, though that was not my preferance.

I don't think there are any rules about what hair styles go with what dresses, other than (maybe) matching formality. As in, I don't think a long veil would work with your short dress. And I don't think a very tight, controlled hairstyle would work with a very flowy dress. Actually, I don't think super tight hairstyles look right on anyone, but that's my personal preference.

That said, I think an up do would look lovely with your dress. With the high neckline, an updo would create a bit of space and room for your neck to breath, while showing off the pretty illusion neckline.

You could do something very audrey-esque, and do a high updo like:

or you could do a lower, loose updo. Half up would also look nice. Even down would look good! I don't think you can go wrong, its just about what "sings" to you, and feels like you, but better.

I absolutely ADORE the high curly bun!! You have introduced me to a new inspiration! I am the same way, I have never liked super tight hairstyles, and I am not really into veils (even the smaller ones; however, I would consider it with the right hairstyle...maybe haha). But, the halo is so elegant!

Also, I was thinking of the beehive look as well --- nothing too high. I really like the first pic!
