Barn venue that allows outside caterer

My first post, so please forgive any newbie mistakes! My fiance and I live in NJ and we've been searching all over NJ, PA, and NY to find a rustic barn venue that also allows us to bring in our own caterer of choice, as we're keen to have a specific cultural spin to our menu. Unfortunately it seems most venues have their own caterer or make it mandatory to pick off their "preferred" list. Does anyone have any insight into venues that fit the bill, or maybe ideas on how to creatively search for a venue that would fit our needs?

Not sure where in NY you are looking, but some barn venues in the Hudson Valley. I am not sure about their catering policys
