Just a heads up to anyone who may be getting married or just spending a little time in Vegas on New Years Eve...they are looking for it to snow.

    I live here and people are freaking haha last time we got any substantial snow was 2008. It took my mom 4 hours to get home from work on the strip (a typical 25min commute) and our community was located at a higher point so people we're abandoning cars because they couldn't get up the hills. It was pretty neat to see the strip covered in snow though. I think the main concern for NYE is people rarely dress appropriately because "it's Vegas!!" so you end up with a bunch of half dressed drunk people in 20 degree temps. I will be pleasantly surprised if we get a lot of snow, I'm a teacher so I'm on break and it doesn't effect me if I am home bound for a few days. I might actually enjoy it if it manages to stick a little bit!!

    Its funny, I was in Vegas last weekend and it was warm and nice. But cooled down by christmas eve. People were all ready concerned about it last week as a possibility it might happen. I live in canada so that would be nothing to us.

    I saw on the news that some of the fountains froze... they interviewed this lady who was "shocked and amazed"  :)

    I always find it fascinating the people they choose to interview... LOL

    We were married on the 29th and a lot of our pictures were outside....I'm betting you will see a progression of my nose getting redder as the night went on lol
